Privacy Policy

Dink O’Clock (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the website dinkoclock.com and the pickleball facility at Big Wide, National Highway, Labangal, General Santos City. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it.

What we collect

When you create an account or book with us, we collect:

  • Your name and email address
  • Your phone number (optional)
  • A password hash (we never see your raw password)
  • Your skill level, if you tell us
  • Your booking history, Open Play sign-ups, and tournament registrations
  • Payment screenshots you upload to confirm GCash payments — these stay on our server and are accessible only to admins
  • Standard server logs (IP address, browser, timestamps) generated automatically by our infrastructure for security and debugging

For tournament teams, we also collect the name (and optionally email) of your partner so we can confirm both players at check-in.

Why we collect it

  • To verify your bookings and tournament/Open Play entries
  • To send you transactional emails: booking confirmations, payment receipts, schedule changes, and password resets
  • To prevent fraud and abuse
  • To improve the service (e.g., understanding which slots are most popular)

We do not sell or rent your data to anyone, ever. We do not use it for advertising or send marketing emails. The emails you receive from us are strictly transactional.

Who can see your data

  • You, from your dashboard
  • Dink O’Clock admins, who use it to verify and manage bookings
  • Our hosting provider, which stores the data on servers located in the European Union but accessible globally
  • GCash — only the payment recipient details are shared with you via QR code; we never see your bank details
  • Legal authorities, if required by valid court order or law

How long we keep it

We keep booking records and screenshots for as long as your account exists, plus a reasonable period afterward for accounting and dispute resolution (typically up to 2 years). You can ask us to delete your account at any time by emailing admin@dinkoclock.com.

Cookies & sessions

We use a single session cookie to keep you signed in. We don’t use third-party tracking pixels, advertising cookies, or analytics beacons. The site works fine with all cookies blocked except the session cookie required for login.

Security

Passwords are stored as one-way bcrypt hashes. The site is served over HTTPS only. Payment screenshots are stored on the server with access restricted to authenticated admins. We don’t store any credit card or bank information ourselves — GCash handles all payment data on their side.

No system is perfectly secure. If you suspect your account has been accessed without permission, change your password immediately via your account page and email us so we can help.

Your rights

Under Philippine data privacy law (RA 10173) you have the right to:

  • See what data we have on you
  • Correct anything that’s wrong
  • Have it deleted (subject to legal retention requirements)
  • Object to processing or withdraw consent
  • Complain to the National Privacy Commission (privacy.gov.ph)

Email admin@dinkoclock.com with any request and we’ll respond within 15 days.

Changes to this policy

If we ever change this policy meaningfully, we’ll update the “last updated” date at the top and, for significant changes, email you about it before the new policy takes effect.
